New York, New York

Architect:  Ingrao / Bryan Brown Architects

The Greenwich Street Staircase project was a collaboration between the architect, the fabricator and Craft to produce a switchback staircase cantilevered from the floor structure above and below.  The design of the staircase was intended to pay homage to the industrial history of the site through its form and detailing.  The materials were primarily cold rolled steel plate with heavy timber treads and iron posts.
