Sustainability in the built environment
Responsibility. In light of the recent reports by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, we recognize the importance of a renewed approach to building design, engineering, and fabrication. We are actively engaged in understanding how sustainability and global responsibility applies to the built environment and how our studio can employ technology and expertise to meet the present need.
Sustainability. We are eager to continue our research into positive impacts in the built environment. We look forward to lessons learned from the International Mass Timber Conference in Portland, Oregon, to assure sustainability in the supply chain through to the final product, by investigating more sustainable material solutions in engineering design.
Community. For the second consecutive year, we joined in the Design for Freedom Summit in New Canaan, Connecticut, engaging with industry leaders in the pursuit of a more humane future, discussing issues and opportunities in supply chain transparency, and raising awareness of how our materials are sourced.
Technology. Through our participation in BIM World at the 2023 Paris Expo, we prioritize the integration of cutting-edge research and computation into our technology and transformation efforts. Our commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends in Building Information Modeling and digital construction ensures that we continuously innovate to improve project efficiency and sustainability in the modern world.
Thinking globally. By establishing offices in Athens and Paris, in addition to our existing locations in Boulder and hub in NYC, we are able to operate as a global organization. Interactions with colleagues across our international offices provides us with valuable insights and perspectives on global best practices that we incorporate into our daily operations.
