By Seema Bajaria · July 18, 2022

We are honored to have been awarded Honorable Mention from Architect’s Newspaper for Excellence in Practice in the category of Structural Engineering in the Northeast. This is our second year in a row being recognized for our firm’s commitment to practicing with passion, pride and purpose.

Our firm grew out of a passion for art and architecture, and the possibilities of merging engineering excellence with these pursuits.

By applying technological innovation to each step in the design process, we integrate technical excellence into both the process and the final product while positively influencing design. Sophisticated analysis tools combined with our multidisciplinary backgrounds in product design, architecture, and computation lend uniquely informed perspectives to non-traditional projects. Technology allows us to engage in conversation with artists and architects in the complex process of design, whether it be simulations to visualize building physics under climate conditions or three-dimensional scanning to parameterize intricacies in complex geometry.

We apply our knowledge and distinct skill sets in technological innovation in traditional projects toward another realm: global sustainability. Through collaboration with NGOs and student groups, we seek to employ technologies developed by our practice in support of shelters in high-risk areas for communities in need. We take pride in applying our structural and technical expertise to positively impact society. In areas with limited proficiency and means to address current climate issues, we provide regional solutions to protect against seismic activity.

As we have found especially over the last two years, practice excellence must also encompass flexibility, creativity, resiliency and adaptability in unpredictable times. Our internationally diverse firm has empowered team members to set up two new satellite offices, allowing a larger footprint and feet on the ground for projects around the globe.
